A total of 550 bare-root trees and shrubs (Populus sargentii, Salix amygdaloides, Corn us stolonifera, Artemesia cana, and Shepherdia argentea) were hand planted inside the wetland pond exclosures in the AVF (Units 90-3-A, 95-3, 96-3, and 96-4). In 1999, a total of 282 bare-root trees and shrubs (Populus deltoides, P. tremuloides, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Picea pungens, Pinus ponderosa, Betula papyrifera, Acer saccharinum, Rhus glabra, Syringa vulgaris, Caragana arborescens, Elaeagnus augustifolis, Malus spp., Prunus americana, P. [nanking], P. virginiana, Salix [golden], and Rosa rugosa) were hand planted inside the wetland pond exclosures in the AVF (Units 90-3-A, 95-3, 96-3, and 96-4).
